Towards the another path of my life...

Today is my 2nd day at work. Normally it's my pap who drives me to work after mom every morning but this day I had to go by myself coz pap had to go out very early in the morning and it was too early for me to go along in my father's car since my work started at 10. Well... actually it wasn't very early though coz we usually depart at 8.30 and today was at 8.00(hahaz ^_^" he said early!). I wanted to try going to work on my own once(not exactly from my home to there) and I followed them out, my father dropped me and mom near KLCC shopping centre(8.30). We went through the tunnel(underground of the shopping centre) and mom told me to take the Putra LRT to Jelatek. Before that we had our breakfast at a malay retaurant(Mom's leading). She had to go at 9 and I was left alone(worried~~T.T) to continue my breakfast. It was still early after that(9.15) and so I decided to go wander around KLCC shoppoing centre. Suddenly a thought of "how am I gonna go around without knowing the time?"crossed my mind(I forgot to bring my watch). So I just stayed near the Putra LRT station(there was a clock there) and dare not to go too far. Around 9.40 I aboarded the LRT. The Jelatek station was mere 4 stations ahead away from the KLCC station. I knew this would be quick, but it happened to be quicker than I thought! The average time taken from 1 station to another was approximately 1.5 mins! Okay now I'd finished half of my journey, I reached the station and the next thing was to find my working place. My parents didn't either draw a map for me or tell me in detailed where the place was, what exactly they'd told me was
"It's just close to the LRT station, just go around and look for it!"
"Yeah, you can do it you know, it'll not take you more than 2 steps to reach there."
They really seemed not to care if I was lost coz they'd probably think this way : "It doesn't matter, if one's lost, we'll not lose all, just 1/3, still have more than half hohohoho~~~!." (OMG!!! T.T)
Nolah, actually they had confidence that I could find it, hahahaz!
The fact was, I'd taken (lost count) steps. The 1st prob when my 1st step out from the station, I looked around... "Err... where exactly am I gonna start my search?". Not to waste anymore time, I took the left side and ended up myself on a housing estate. @#$%^&*(*! Why did I take left? coz I coz I saw the company's bus parking there. It led me to a wrong way. !@#$%^&*(! I started to panic after the outcome of my few more searches was "NOT HERE!" coz I didn't wanna be late and I didn't even have any idea what the time was. ARRRHHHHHH~~~~~NOOOOO~~~~~ just as the moment I roared in despair and anger in my heart, suddenly, I saw it! It was just infront of me as I turned around, just across the road. I sighed in relief, it was 9.55, I've made it! And so started the another day...

As usual, I handled customers, typed documents, lifting cargo and goods, asking and learning... This job is really something! It requires:

1) me to talk(it's never a problem to ask and answer in Malay, but not in explaining and listening coz they speak way to swift! I always have to put 8 ears on)

2) physical strenght(not a prob for me to lift goods that weight in the range of less than 40kg, of coz the size can't be too big as well)

3) mind power(memorizing, computering, sorting & disposing data...)

It's cool, ya' know.

This evening I'd be going back home together with my mom so I left at 5.50.
I waited for my mom at the KLCC Putra LRT station and we would 1st go to Masjid Jamek's Putra Station for changing to taking Star LRT. Before that, when we were waiting at the station, the situation was totally different from the morning's. That period was when everyone was off from their work and caused the station to be so crowded and dense. We really had to pay some patience 1st before we could get our tickets as the queeing line were so looong eventhough there were 2 lines! How tiring this is, especially for workers who have already been tired with their whole day's work. I wonder how does momy do this every day, repeating & repeating and what kind of will is this? All I can tell is, it's a very strong will (^.^). If I were ever to experience this everyday, I'd probably be dead! So that's why Momies in the world are the best is oftenly told. Finally got back home 'bout 7.00++ and till next time, it will be an another story...

Good night.

Towards the another path of my life...

It's been soooOOOOO looooOOOOOOOOnggggg...... The saga has finally ended! And yet, another is bout to begin! Muakakakaka....
SPM's over(23/11/2005), I'm freeeeEEEEE! "Ei wait, how did this burnt page get here?"
This year's gonna be a little different since I will be working 'till xmas(I presume)~fuu fuu~~~ The next day after SPM, my father came home and said : and I said: (let's skip this part)
And the 1st day I went to work was on 25th(Friday). It's a delivery service(Trans Express, ever heard of it?) and I work in a small office with 5 to 6 workers. They're all malays except me and a clerk(It's a she). I'll be working from Mon to Fri, 6~7 hours a day starting from 10. RM5/hour, hmm sounds reasonable eh? The manager(Syed Alwi), he's half malay and half chinese but he looks more like a chiense from his appearence and a friend to my dad and of coz we communicate in english coz my malay isn't very good. After all of the intro, the supervisor taught me what I'll have to do and we started handling customers. There are so many procedures to be done for each customer before they can really deliver or receive their stuff. So if there are more than 2 customers, we'll be getting damn busy. For customers who want to deliver, he/she will be given a form to fill in the addresses and signature, and then the staff will measure the weight of the parcel of his/hers, then the price is then refered to a table and is given base on the weight measured. The copies of the form are then sorted out in the right order. The are 5 different colors of copies, the black one will be as a resit for the customer, and then the green and red one will be put together into a bag and pasted on the parcel or doc. The other 2 are left at the counter. For every document, a constant price RM10 will be charged. For customers who receive their goods, the person is 1st detaily identified and then he'll sign his name as the receiver of the goods in the red form. There were less customers on my 1st day so I didn't do much, just sitted down and wait wait wait.....(quite boring...wooah...)' bout 4.00++ the manager asked me into his office. He wanted to gimme an easy assignment as a test for my familiarity of the computer's program(power point, word, excel...) as I nodded when he asked me. ("kekeke this should be a piece of cake.") He wanted me to make a graph showing the performances of his staff from Feb to Oct. If I do it well, he's gonna gimme another assignment next week, tougher and tougher~~~fuu fuu~~~(I hope it won't stress me T.T) The malays are quite friendly, some even get to know me more. They'd been nice to me ^.^ During lunch time, 2 of them invited me along and we had a little chit-chat. Sometimes there're quite funny though. Around 5.00pm my father came to pick me up, and so ends the 1st day of my another life. I'll be working till xmas, and till then I just can't wait to go for the holidays organised by our class ^.^ Good night.

Here's a little overview of the office. Quite narrow the place is.
